Golden at truck load of trash park

Was able to finally hunt my trash laden park with the Golden super 7 coil combo. Had the notch set just above nickel and set to knock out zincons. Yea I'm missing some gold but I'm still able to dig foil up to just past a nickel. The super 7 performed flawlessly in the high trash. I did dig a couple of tabs and some foil junk and even a nickel. I was only able to hunt for a 1/2 hour but I couldn't believe the precision that the 7 inch coil was able to pick out dimes and even a quarter in the heavy trash. The Golden is a potent machine in high trash and I'm looking forward to posting my first gold ring from this park in the near future.

Good job, the more you use it the more confident you will be to lower the discrimination and still recognize signals from good finds. HH

Ray, I dug more gold rings with the Golden than any other detector I have owned. Once I figured out the notch settings, the hunt was on. I was hoping that the new detector Tesoro has been promising for several years would be a Golden clone with ground balance. I believe it is an easy upgrade. Keep us posted on your future hunts.
