Golden Sabre short hunt.

Got out a little bit Saturday with the new to me Golden Sabre. Was doing some paint work on an old House circa 1919. Took some time just before I left and got in a small hour or so. Most targets were it the 3-4" range. One quarter was 7" deep right next to a sidewalk. Came in loud and clear. I believe it would have found it an inch or two deeper. The hatchet was in the front yard of all places. just under the surface an inch or two. Full sensitivity, disc at the O in Foil, notch filter off. Dug anything that sounded good and clean to my ears. Thanks for looking

Nice work Wheatymike! Man that Golden is so cool. It looks really top heavy, is it?
I guess it is a little top heavy. Not bad though. Not as light as a uMax.

I own the same machine. I even wore it on my belt with a 4 inch coil on a homemade pvc short shaft to use it as a sophisticated pin pointer until I could afford a real one.

It's a good machine, just not much for depth in my opinion. I also use a deleon as my other grab an go machine.

Deep or not I really like using this machine. I have two of them!!
