Golden uMax

Is anyone still using the golden umax. 4 or 5 months ago that was everyone's favorite now I am not seeing much said about it.

I am really impressed with the Golden also, the 2 tones and the notch make id of targets quick and easy.

I got my hands on Golden uMax old tone just recently,couldn't past it up. first day with mine a silver ring its a clad eater too! Those who have em like em,but since tesroro stopped production awhile now they are hard to get one from those who are sold on it.

I love my Golden. Fun and effective, just wish this drought would ease up so I could get out with it more. Anyhow, it is very dry in my area of Missouri and I haven't had much to post because of it.

In Mississippi the ground is to hard and weather to hot to land hunt. Its water hunting time here, soon though. If you notice my signature below and were to compare it to my past ones you'd see I've down sized a lot. But the Golden is still in the line up.

Tesoro did a little house cleaning and are under new management now. My beef was with the previous one. Don't want to go into the details. Old news and not constructive

Skiwhiz is still in training but we have been bitten by the same bug

I'm always evaluating my equipment and make changes based upon my evaluations.

Skiwhiz still in training---I can't wait to hear Steves come back on that one! -----------Welllll Mike, if Tesoro would EVER put a manual gb on that golden I would have me one.----That's what stops me dead on that detector every time I get the wild urge to study/research it.----Even went so far as to purchase one once & use it a bit but didn't keep it because of stated reason (no manual gb)---which I've GOT to have in my mean ground.-----Doing a gb mod would probably be ok but it screws up the warranty.------You listenin Tesoro???
