Dose anyone use these gold maps? I just was thinking of getting region 5 an 6 and was wondering if anyone has any information on them before i buy them as of their detail and areas to find gold.
Thanks Jess

I dont know about those maps. I use one of these http://www.amazon.com/Gold-Districts-California-Bulletin-Included/dp/B001BJXG14 It not only tells you where gold was found, but in many cases how much and what manner the gold occured in. I have seen these in used book stores and they come with a map. Topo maps usually show where mines were located. Also you could try this link. good luck

No problem. I am from california and I have been mining all my life. My dad owns a small mineral exploration company so I started young.

I have some of these maps, and they are accurate in prospecting locations at overlooked areas, and they are quite detailed.
