hi everyone i've been using the g.q.a. for 7 months now and have made some good finds. 99% of my hunting is in the water usually waist to chest high. anyone that uses this machine in salt water knows that when the water rises so does the sound of the threshold. this used to drive me crazy, but lately i;ve been noticing that as the water rises and the machine adjust for the differance it goes deeper. at first i thought it was just falsing because this is a very faint signal and it's only there for 2 or 3 seconds while the wave passes over then it's gone untill the the next wave passes over. the first time i dug one of these targets i didn't expect to find anything but i found a dime, a really deep dime. so now i really listen for these signals. of course your coil has to be over the target at the right moment or you'll miss them. i usually get 3 or 4 of these signals each time i go to the beach. just a tip i thought i'd pass along i've never read or heard about this before. then maybe everyone already knew this but me. happy hunting
