Hello Bill,

I know Eric's on vacation and he'd probably be the one to best answer this, I have a question about a certain size coil coming with a new GoldScan 5 as it's main coil instead of the 11' open coil.

I'm considering on getting a Goldscan 5 from Eric, The coil I prefer to be would be the 10" center mounted coil instead of the 11" open coil. Would it be possible for Eric to made and replace the standard 11" coil with the 10" center mounted coil? For California and my hunting needs, the 10" center mounted coil would be the better coil.

I think something along those lines could be done. That is if he still has the 10" coil shells left.

I like the 10" center mounted coil for hunting the surf and the 1" loss of coverage only affects depth by about 1/2- inch at most, Really a super nice balanced coil and the 10" coil will be a better coil over the 11" coil for inland hunting in trashy areas of iron.

Please ask Eric when he returns and it's quite possible I'll put in an order for the Goldcan 5 within 4-6 weeks, I feel it will be a good relic detector as well.
