Golscan 2 battery pack.

Hi all , I have a Goldscan 2 (1992 model) .It is still just about managing to operate on the battery pack that came with it .These batteries have been in there for 9 years that i know of. File enclosed of the box internals . Can anybody tell me if this is the correct battery pack for this model ? I thought it should have had 12 cells in there ......maybe its been modified at some stage. Anybody know if there is a battery upgrade available to take the place of the outgoing pack ?

Try batteryspace dot com, I got pack made for TDI. I dont know much about the Goldscans but is probably like TDI 14 volts.

Do not try to 14V... your package contains 5 x 2,4V (4Ah or 400mA). So you need to buy 5 batteries of 2.4 V.

Not sure if this helps but you can buy pulse power battery packs at strikealite in UK . My Deepstar has a pack of 12 cells = 14.4v and 2.8Ah
