Golden umax GONE!!! on the :tesoro: web site. Maybe Cazador will be here soon.:clapping:
Maybe the post at the top of this forum dated March, 2013 from TesoroMD should be removed too. He states they are working on the Golden U.

I like Tesoro, but I find it hard to believe they can come out with something new when they can't fix what they have. Maybe this is an indication of a new multi-tone unit.

Gone...................that's where I'll be if the new Cazador is not a target id machine!!

Somewhere waaay back down the road it was mentioned there was a problem with a processor? I've never owned a Golden U but would like to have one if it had an adjustable g.b. I'm wondering how this lifetime warranty is working with those who have the Golden?? That posting by TesoroMD was released over a year ago and the problems with the Golden started well before that. Maybe some owners of the G.U. can chime in?
I have thought about buying a used one but if I can't get repairs I won't. Also, how can they have a new multi-tone machine if they can't fix the old one?

I could be wrong on this, but I got the impression when talking with Tesoro that the problems came with the new tones version. That was why I sought an old tones model AND, this is important, Tesoro told me that they will always honor the lifetime warranty on a new unit. That was why I wanted a new machine vs. a good used one.

Pure speculation, but maybe the new machine is going to be their new multi-tone unit.

That means they needed to reitre the Golden and it will also allow them to service and honor their Golden warranties.

Ivan, If the Cazador is not a tid machine could I have fist shot at owning all your Tesoro detectors ? :cheekkiss: Please!
