get the lay of the land and look for a good steak house for when I see my nephew Joey next month for family day, that boy is gonna be one hungry Army recruit :rofl:

He said he wants the biggest steak he can get, looks like I'll just have to get him two or three, money well spent on the young warrior :thumbup: ......... :usaa:

Joey earn his first stripe in boot camp, I told him when I saw him this passed Christmas before he shipped out that he could earn one and he did, hooah!

See if there is by chance a Cattlemens Steakhouse in that area Ray.
They are costly, 'bout $50.00 fer a 2 pounder but worth every dime.
The animal is slaughtered and butchered on site.
Don't git any fresher than that :thumbup:

was just two years old he would love to head butt his Uncle Ray, damn near knock me out. My brother god rest his soul now and his wife would say Ray, don't let him do that because he likes it and he will hurt you, my reply would always be the same, gotta let the boy be the boy, he's a Moheit, we were born tough, hooah! :thumbup:

was a solid rifle that didn't jam on me.

Many died in Vietnam using those first M-16's, they were to light and felt like shooting a toy gun, thank god they got it right!

Do they even use the M-16 any more, not sure, when using the M-60 it would rack my body for days until I got use to it, then I got good with it, could cut a tree line in half within a minute, great gun as was the best rifle I ever shot, the M-14 :usmc:
 
goin back to .30 cal for the infantryman.
I can't recall the model number right now but H&K has taken the M-16 platform and turned it into a phenominal .30 cal weapon.
I would sure love to see it in the hands of all out infantry but i'm sure some jackazz in washington will no doubt interfere.
