Good bye Brothers and Sisters in Christ

It is unfortunate that miscommunications between Brothers and Sisters in Christ can cause such a stir. It is unfortunate that feelings were hurt and one of out Sisters departed. It is unfortunate that Brother had to yell at Brother. It is unfortunate that I know Lorraine and I know Gary and to a lesser extent Goes4ever.

God's children shouldn't have to fight with each other, run away from each other or be judged by one another.
Yet this has happened. The Spirit of God wants us to be one in Christ. As I mentioned before, the devil uses the divide and conquer technique well.

He has divided Brother and Sister from each other in a place where we ought to be holding each uther up in prayer, not ripping them down because of a dislike or a misunderstanding.

So I say good bye to the Brothers and Sisters in Christ who wil miss me. Those who saw that I was trying to resolve a conflict. Those who have the Holy Spirit of God will know my heart. It is easier for me to leave apparently than it is to find forgiveness for the mistakes of others.

God bless all those who follow the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.

Your leaving too????? I will surely miss reading your posts. I don't know what happened, but I wish you would reconsider and stay with us.
 
If you can't get along posting each other on here, how do you get along with people in the real world???? Is this the way of Christ?
 
please do not leave because of the mess Gary started here, you are a great brother in Christ and we all enjoy you posts. Maybe Gary ought to be the one going so Lorraine and you can both stay!!!

Beacuse if Gary stays and continues his judgemental attitude towards everyone here, I will be giving my goodbyes as well. I will not be on the CMD forum with Gary. I am sorry, but I will not sit and watch him tear the place apart with his "I am holier than you attitude" I am here to enjoy reading and posting with Christain Brothers and Sisters, if I cannot do that w/o being judged, I want no part of it.

So again I ask to you, please stay Pete.
 
Pete you and Mike as well as Betty and Loraine have been an inspiration to me over last past months.I do not want you to leave this forum and I ask that you really pray and seek Gods guidance for you at this time. It's real easy to quit but it makes a better person to stand up to the enemy and make a stand. I have lost good friends because I obey God. The word says that if we find fault with a brother or sister we should go to them and point it out so they can better themselves. I don't understand what has been going on but if we all really "obey" the word of God we should never have issues between us. I beg all of those who belong to this forum to pick up the word and read it again and follow what it says.

please dont leave. i want lorainne back to. you both should b here with us. i am upset to but we all start leaving then what does that show satan? that we are weak? i know you both are strong christians. i have enjoyed many posts from you. I feel prayer is needed here for all of us. satan shouldnt be allowed to play his games here. i dont want to get into finger pointing or anything else, all I know is we are christians, and christians forgive, turn the other cheek and keep moving towards God. this is a wonderful spirit fulled forum. lets please keep it that way.

You know why I love this forum so much? it is a place where spirit, blood washed chrisitans can come and enjoy each others encouragement and fellowship.
It dosent matter what religion, race, or etc. you may be. for all is welcome here.and NONE IS TO BE JUDGED, this saddens me so much to see yet another of our family go. :cry: let God deal with the unrightious and keep the numbers of the rightiuos strong for we are few.so please Pete and Lorainne. please stay with us.
 
I do not know what is going on or what happened in the last week to have everyone upset and wanting to leave this forum. I was gone for a week and came back to all of this confusion. I do not want to see anyone leave. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ and need to stick together.

This forum is not just about metal detecting, it is about Christians getting together from all religious backgrounds for one reason. That reason is because we all believe in God and and the great things he has done for us and others in the forum. This forum is a "safe place" for me. I can express my concerns in life and not feel that I am going to be ridiculed, belittled, or shunned, because of what I believe. I love this forum and do not want to see it broken up. WE have been through so much together, and we need to stick together when Satan is trying to split us up. Are we going to let Satan win this one? Well I am not going to let him win. I will keep praying that those involved in this will see that Satan is trying his hardest to defeat us and that they not let him do it.

I ask that everyone that is thinking about leaving pray hard and wait a week before they make their decision. I will be praying for all and praying that Satan does not win..

Bro.Pete, I don't understand you wanting to leave either! Is it something I said in my posts? If so, please forgive me and come back and post your wonderful Spiritual filled posts with the scriptures as proof!

We cannot let satan win and break us all up until we are not any good to or for each other as Christian brother's and sister"s or to those who lurk and just read the forum posts! They will think with the leaving of the Forum that we are weak Christian's bickering with each other over trivial things that a person will do when coming into the light of Jesus more and more!

When we believe in Jesus' virgin birth, death and resurrection, then that is what truly counts, for God does the rest as each heart is softened more and more with His light shining before them brighter and brighter!

God says forgive one another as I have forgiven you! That doesn't mean just a few, but EVERYONE! So let us forgive one another and go on from this day, Father's Day, and speak nicely and encourage each other! There is a time for everything under the sun, including rebuking others, only when God quickens us by His Holy Spirit to do so, only then will those who aren't quite knowledgeable or grown in the Word of God will not get embarrassed or hurt! God knows their heart and what they need! And in time the right Christian will speak and they will hear when done by the leading of the Holy Spirit!

Please come back everyone and let us join together in love and in prayer for lifting up one another and witnessing to those who are lost without our fighting among us! I have been guilty, too, so I ask forgiveness for what I've done! So Please Forgive Me and know that I love each of you as a Sister-in-Christ! :angel:

seriously though no those involved (and I include me0 have not behaved as a child of God should have. Even when reason and logic and most of all God's Word fails to get into their heads and hearts other people such as yourself see how self-centered we can become - instead of God centered.

I apologize for my behavior and I ask your forgiveness. This is not what being a Christian is all about and I am sorry you had to see a bad side of it. Please don't let this taint your feelings. God lovs you too.

Amen Bro Pete! And keep on posting oldigger we, as Children of God, don't always fuss and fight amongst ourselves....there are times when we are civil and loving to each other, hopefully, more so than arguing and calling each other name or whatever!

God's kids should put away childish ways and love each other like God loves us! Our Father in Heaven must be shaking His head and pointing His finger and saying, No, My Children that is not the way to act! :sad:

Pete, I dont know what happened or what was posted here but leaving the forum is not the answer. Can you imagine what kind of shape we would be in if Jesus would of said I am leaving when someone offended him or insulted him? We are all called to be examples of Christ and follow his word. We as christians have to have elephant skin and take offense to nothing. The devil will try anything to get christians fighting or split because he knows 1 can put a thousand to flight and 2 can put 10,000 to flight. How many can 50 or 60 put to flight? Offenses are going to come and I think your going to see them increase, its just another sign of the times. Didnt Jesus also say how many times a day should we forgive our brother if he sins agianst us 7 no 7x70. So I think you should stay as I too enjoyed reading your posts. Ron in MI.
 
Dobbie,Lorraine is really bummed out by what was said by Garybrun...she said its either her or him that will leave,and she chose to leave...Im sorry I even brought up that movie-If I had known it would have caused such a commotion;it never would have been mentioned...Maybe you can send her an e-mail to lend her your support-she said she will be be checking in with me from time to time-AND I will be with her,also....Warthog Steve!!
