WOW am I lost. I didn't come top this forum to be on a soapbox. There are way too many of them in the church I used to go to!!

Nobody here really knows anybody or whats in their heart. If you can't accept somebody for who they are and who they say they are you shouldn't post here. My two cents.

Thanks Ron M, for your post! I don't know if you are new or not....but your post speaks much! May we all stand tall and faithfully serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus, even when offenses come because as you say, these are the signs of the times! What good are we as witnesses to sinners when we Christians fight among ourselves and speak ill of one another! May we hear and obey God's Holy Spirit and each be the Child He wants us to be.....growing and worshiping Him in Spirit and in truth! God is goooood and worthy to be praised, so Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for all You've done for us in dying a brutal death and then living again to show us the way of how we can live and forever be with You! Your mercy and grace for us is truly blessings from an Awesome Godd! Amen & Amen!

I am new here Betty, and as you say how can we witness to sinners if we get offended by each other. I know many offenses are going to come that is why we have to cast them down as soon as they come. At our church we went through a series of training on witnessing called Way of the Master. It was excellent and i would recommend everyone watch that have not seen it. A good example of an opportunity to get offended was when our youth group went out to witness and some of the people actually started swearing and cussing at these 11 and 12 year old kids. That is why Jesus said when things like this happens to count it all joy. I know for sure Betty we are all a work in progress that is why we have to pray daily and spend our daily time in the word. You are also correct God is good and he sure is worthy to be PRAISED so stick around and continue the great posts. Ron M.

And you too Ron! I hope you post often and be an inspiration to all of us no matter where our walk is with Christ Jesus! That is awful for them to do that to young folks! I sure hope they didn't get discouraged in going out and witnessing!

But Jesus said to His disciples to go unto all the nations and be witnesses of His gospel, but if they refuse to listen or let them speak, then to wipe the dust off their feet and go on to the next city or town needing to know about Him!

I believe the only time anyone can really witness to sinners is when God has prepared their hearts to receive and we are told by His Holy Spirit to go to that person or them! Just like in the Bible when one was told to go to Saul, now Paul, to pray for him after his being blinded on the road to Damascus! I forget his name and I"ve misplaced my Thomas Chain Bible and my little one doesn't have any thing to look up certain words to find the scriptures! He knew that Paul (Saul) had helped imprison or kill the Christians and he didn't want anything to do with him....but he obeyed God and Paul was saved and he could see again! Thus once I was blind but now I see! He saw physically and spiritually! Praise God for His all-forgiving love and Awesomeness and those who obey Him when called into service!
