good chance ill sell my deus

I'd say yes because the 11" is bigger and slightly heavier than the 9" coil. Also the 11" will be seeing more of the "ground mineralization" under it too than the 9" coil will.

mtsheron, he has the 9. I have the 11

Wondering if this is more likely a issue with the 11

Ahhhhh, maybe so as to why the chatter you may be disliking. Mine is a 11" coil and they chatter and bip bip bip! But it is covering a larger area and picking up everything!

I had the same problem with a 9" coil. It's more pronounced with the 11", but the 9" will false when wiggled also.
Are the both of you running the same firmware version. I suspect your Deus is on v3.2, but your buddy may be running v2.0.
I don't remember mine falsing on v2.0 but after I upgraded, I started using ground tracking. That's when I started experiencing the trouble and found I needed ground notch.
It's not supposed to be a problem in manual GB, (It isn't on my Deus v3.2).

After checking my notes I realized I had to Ground Notch my Deus the first time I used it and have not had the concussion falsing since. I have never had to reset again.

I have to everytime I turn it on. It doesn't save in the factory gm power or deus fast.

nothing saves in a pre-filled factory program; you need to use the open slots to store.

just sell it already

Im fully aware that nothing saves in factory spot. Your reply was kinda ridiculous. Did you not see I just told the othr person I have to do it everytime I turn it on because it doesn't save in factory. And why are you pushing for me to sell it? Whats your issue? Unless your joking around. hard to tell behind a computer.

Not sure why folks get so combative here hunter. I guess this has solved a bit of the issue. As to it not saving because of it being a factory pre-set you could just write the program to save to the open slot with the GN added so it will save. But I am sure you know that.

Im not sure why either. In fact swinging today I was thinking about it. Anyways the problem seem to have quit. Today I took it out and went into GM power, silencer -1, iron vol 2 and react 2. I never did a GB and left it alon and had no coil wiggle sound. So I have came to the conclusion that it wont do it if I don't turn on gb tracking or pumping.

Happy Hunting Hunter!
Thank you Berntout :)

It started snowing today here in Stafford Va. But im going to see how it handles the 28 degrees and snow ground. I am going to not mess with GB today and jus go full throttle :)

Good luck and post the results!

Let us know how you get along with your first hunt! Don't worry about the elements - this machine can take all kinds of abuse from cold to hot, wet or dry, rolling around a car trunk in the hot and cold, etc. - I've put it through its paces in the last 12+ months and have only had one hiccup. Leave your GB at the factory "90" setting and you should do just fine even if using Basic 1

Make your adjustments and then save to an open user slot. Give it a name that you like and run the machine in this program. Shut it down in this program and next time you turn it on you are there and ready to go. GL and HH
Good to see you got the problem resolved
