Good day in the woods.

Mike Chgo area

Well-known member
Got in about 3hrs 30 mins of swinging in one of the forest preserves. Lot of water still standing around in puddles. Wasn't getting many signals so moved on in to an area where I usually get something. Hard hunting with a lot of stickers, bushes, and fallen trees. Got 2 Wheaties, 1924 and 1928 with a 1924 Buffalo. Then the good one, a 1912 P Barber dime in pretty good shape. At least I got my silver fix.

very well done..i hate huntin in tall weeds grass. i wanna see pics of the forest oh and of course your finds...

'24...'28 '24...terrific finds!! Can't wait to see the pics

Good going Mike on finding the old coins! I know how difficult it is to walk in the woods, let alone detect in them! Keep on, keepin' on for the Lord and detecting and stay safe on the highways and in the woods! In Steelville, MO..............a BIG Cougar was trailing a man downwind, upwind, and then downwind again which was getting closer and closer, so he had to shoot it! Sure is a large cat and the man weighs 200 or more and is 6 foot tall! It is bigger than him!

Our cats grow big in MO..................
