Good day today, my best wheat day ever!

Last spring I hunted my old high school about 8 times with the X 70 then the X705 when it came. Found a lot of coins and a couple of wheats just outside of what we called when I was there the student center. Brick and concrete benches in a small area outside. I spent a lot of time out there during high school breaks and lunches. About early last summer they fenced the whole front of the school off to build a new basketball center and do a total facelift of the school. I've been mourning since that time. The construction is about through now and they have took down the fence partially. Sadly it looks as if this area might get dozed and something else put there, I'm keeping my fingers crossed it won't. Anyway I got to hunt it with the E Trac for about 2.5 hours this afternoon. I hunted it with my X 8 coil then went back over it with the X 5 coil. You talk about stuff in the ground my goodness! The area I hunted was about 40' X 10' and was parallel with a little 2' high enclosure that surrounded the student center. The hedge minus one bush is still there from when I was in school. I hunted this area a good bit with the other detectors and the ET pulled a lot more stuff out of the ground. I was shocked at 56 coins in 2.5 hours. I was tickled to death at 10 of them being wheaties! Yeehaa my best wheat day ever! Got 2 Chinese coins, 2 Canadian coins, 2 dimes, and 40 pennies plus the 10 wheats. What is just crazy is I know at least half the coins had other metals in the same hole with the coins. This place is trash city and a lot of the coins were found moving just as slow as you can go. I did take someones hint about turning the tone to long when hunting areas like this and it really helped out when I hit a good target amongst the junk. I'll tell you if you haven't put the little X 5 in a place as trashy as this place is you are missing the boat. I found stuff that the X 8 had missed the first hour or so there and the little coil just kept sounding off. Probably 75% of the coins were from 3 to 8 inches. I'm ready to go back again! Here's some pics.......
