Good first outing with 11" DD coil on Delta

I had a chance this morning to try it out. I split my time between 3 different spots that I have hit before. Nothing spectacular, but I spent most of my time getting the hang of pinpointing. That loonie hit nicely on my machine. I need to get over to Canada to do some hunting soon :)

Glad to see you got the 11" out in action! The pinpointing does take a little getting onto, but it actually is pretty much spot on once you get used to it. Keep on swinging with it and let us know what else you find :)

I went to a spot that has skunked me many times today. I went way down by the road along the sidewalk strip and found a 1991 Kennedy half. My first half ever for me. The large coin had my heart pumping. Almost as much as that golden colored loonie the other day.

I am not 100% sure about depth increase yet since I haven't been able to use it much because of all the rain in my area lately. I definitely like the coverage from toe to heal compared to the concentric coil.

Had a killer day today with it :) Nice silver ring.

Thanks topaz, it is definetly worth the upgrade to the 11"
Relic hunting with the 11"DD would be great with its coverage and depth in all metal mode.
