When out today and had a good hunt. I always find these thick copper wires at all my CW sites so I like to show them as well. Nothing great but they are apart of the hunt. I feel like the soldier used them for something important.thanks for looking
 
It looks like you have two sizes of wire and wire was used for a lot of things but I bet the thicker wire was telegraph wire. Nice finds.

IT will be a while for I can get out.. Flash floods in the Region yesterday.. My Home , street and neighborhood flooded. 4-6" water in my home. Flooring, walls and many belongings ruined due to mother nature. Keep your fingers crossed for my wife and I... Thanks. CCH.
