Good Morning @ C.A. Frost

For all the world, it looked like it was going to rain this morning, but I loaded up the gear and went out anyway. It never did rain, which was nice, because that gave me a couple hours @ one of our local elementary schools. I found:

$2.50 in quarters, 1.60 in dimes, .30 in nickles, .18 in copper pennies, .19 in zink pennies, and a handful of odds & ends. All in all not a bad morning. $3.48 yesterday and $4.79 today. I really enjoy hunting with my Minelab X-terra 505 w/standard coil. Very good machine!

Nice detecting finds Martin and it has cooled off here in my area...right now shows temp 74 degrees with cool breeze. Looked like rain here, also, but sunshine is making the outdoors bright! May God Bless you with more energy for :detecting: and in finding lots of coins and goodies! Amen! Ma Betty

WTG Martin - sounds like you are mastering the Minelab. I
am resting up today - gonna give it my all tomorrow at some schools. Steve in so az

Congrats! Keep it up and you will be a millionaire before you know it. lol

Lisa, Being able to be in God's great out-of-doors enjoying this wonderful hobby makes me the richest man in the world, in my mind. I am so blessed to have my health returning to normal and being able to enjoy those things in life I enjoyed in years past. Praise God from WHOM all blessings flow!

Steve, Yes ... I'm becoming very comfortable with my Minelab X-terra 505 and trust its capabilities and what it tells me is in the ground. Of all the detectors I've owned over the years, including Garrett, White's, Technetics, and Tesoro, I've not enjoyed hunting with a detector so much as those from Minelab. The X-terra's are light, easy to handle, well designed, informative & reasonably priced. And that my friend is a combination that's hard to beat. I would whole heartedly reccomend the Minelab X-terra's to anyone, from beginner to seasoned professional.

And last but not least...

MaBetty, I truly wish you were healthy enough to be outside with us enjoying the hobby you loved so much. It would be an honor to hunt with you. God bless you all.

Thanks Martin for the very nice and kind words and I, too, wish I could go :detecting: like I used to be able to do and did enjoy so much and it would be an honor to hunt with you and many, many other Brothers and Sisters on this forum! God is good, though, and allowed me to go :detecting: for a long time until my health failed too much making it very difficult....but I just might try again around late Oct and Nov, if we get some rain to moisten the soil and I am feeling much better! My problem is falling and unable to get up and also tiring out too much....just have very little energy and then when I do anything, I am ill more than usual! Oh well, I trust God in knowing that Jesus is the Healer and I await His complete healing for me or being called Home whenever it is time for me to leave this older and weaker mortal body! Amen! Ma Betty
