... to you all. Its been a long weekend and beginning of the week. I have been running my Dad too and from the doctors. They are waiting for the last test they took on Tuesday. They are thinking he has a blockage in his neck. He passed out Tuesday then couldn't remember things for a few mins. He also fell. To make even worst, Mom was going catch him. He fell into her, hurting her. She is hurting from the hit she took to the chest.

Thanks for the prayers you have said for my Dad.

God Bless
Jeff

Our parents often need help and so do our children. When Joy and I were engaged, we agreed that one of our goals would be keeping our parents out of nursing homes as long as possible. Although my Dad died suddenly, we had my mom for a couple of years, after an 8 year "run up" where we could care for her in a local apartment. We had both of Joy's parents for 3 years while her mom passed of cancer. She died here with us. We made the downstairs into an apartment for her Dad for 8 years after that, but then he needed full time care for about a year. Our whole immediate family was with him when he went through transition. Very hard, but doing the right thing most often IS the hardest. God saw us through it, and I'm sure he'll be in your corner too.
God Bless you and yours,
Tagamet
