Here in Pennsylvania we've been working the dry ground for most of the summer............But not any more !!

Yep, just in time for the peak detecting season - and the weather is cooling off too. I like detecting when the temp is in the 40s or 50s.

You got it !! It's been dry as a bone here in Ct. Digging has been tough. We had a "little" rain last week and even that made a big difference.
It's 10:30 am 9/30 right now and it's POURING out there. Supposed to clear some later Friday and I'm planning to do some swingin' !

Believe it or not here in the Desert of Utah we have had hardley any rain for all of September and a good part of 'August. Luckily we are not still in the bad drought years but had a good spring. But the ground on all my mountian sites is hard and dry. Only the waterd lawns are moist. But the good side to that is that some of the lakes are a bit low at the beach areas that I dont mind.

MAN things come in so much better when the ground is wet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here in Lynchburg Va. the ground is strange anyway.. Its red soil with lots of rocks, Good luck to all.
