I started therapy yesterday,the man seems to think I have a lot on my plate with my divorce,back,etc.........SO:He told me to make no major decisions on ANYTHING right now(including a relationship with any women),and take time to HEAL,and GRIEVE the loss of my marriage..........last night was the first good night's sleep I had in a LONG time,this therapy is going to be a BIG help for me...........In other news;I went to a jamboree(they have a band,and an audience,folks can get up,and do their thing)........I did my song for them "Jesus Smiled/Late For The Show",and they were blown away,said they have rarely had anyone that did their own music.......I am going to another jamboree in 2 weeks,and another BIG one,on the 26th,I was PERSONALLY asked by the sponsors to attend it.It is a gathering of all kinds of musicians,and folks in the know,in the entertainment business-AND,I have almost got the house band convinced to produce my original material-THEY said "you want US to produce YOUR original songs??SOUNDS interesting".............SO:There ya go,I might be on my way.......In August,my church and another one is sponsoring a picnic/community lunch,and I was asked to supply part of the entertainment.....my answer??'OF COURSE".............Steve!!!PSont look for me up on the hit charts anytime soon-I am doing this because I LOVE IT,NOT to get rich and famous.................S.

Very good news to hear, Steve! Counselling helps and I know for I had lots of it along with prayers from prayer warriors to help me, but I give all praise to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior! As the old saying goes, I've come a long way, baby, and I sure have! Right now, I am trying to get things amended with forgiveness from my older daughter, as we have hurt each other through the years and it is time to forgive each other, so I am reaching out to her to let by-gones be by-gones, for neither of us can change the past! She and my son were practically raised by their grandmother, because my ex wanted me to work outside of the home, too much! I am closer to Tami, my youngest, as I stayed home and raised her myself but my ex wasn't very happy about it, as I wasn't bringing in a paycheck and, of course, to him didn't earn anything, although raising a child and house work is worth plenty when you have to pay outside help for it! I wish you well and my prayers are with you, Steve, and by keeping busy with your songs and music for our Lord will keep you on the straight and narrow way of life! May God keep on blessing and keep on, keepin' the faith in Jesus, for He is our helper and will never let us down but we must believe by leaning on and trusting in Him, always! Amen! Ma Betty
