Got out this afternoon with the Vaquero for a 4 hr clad hunt, I hit up a couple grassy areas and a nice sandy play area that always produces fairly decent if I leave it alone for a while. In the sand I go strait vco and dig up anything that gives a round coin signal, too many good targets missed otherwise. This is with out a doubt one of my better clad hunts for the time I put into it.
The total is about $28.00

Thats a nice haul thump. I often think about detecting in Canada, all those loonies and toonies could add up quick. I can drive about 12 miles cross the Ogdensburg Prescott International Bridge and be in Ontario Canada, only problem is I never got a passport . P.S. I am half Canadian by the way, probably my good half .

Now that Canada has stopped manufacturing pennies, I hope they replace it with a higher denomination coin.

Yea, that would be nice. Most won't bend over to pick up a penny, let alone pick them up with any other lost change while they are already bent down!
Those things are everywhere.

Nice clad haul! I have found a few canadian coin here in Maine. I love how those 99% nickel coins hit hard on my machines.
