We have lovely sunny conditions in my area of the Uk at the moment. Had three visits to my favourite farm together with the owner. Its not all super stuff. first picture shows a group of late Roman coins(grots we call them) plus two fragments of 4th century braceletes. Second shot is a modern horse harness fitting. The next is an Ancient British copy of a mid 3rd century coin. Possible Tetricus reverse Salus = heath welfare. She is feeding a serpent coiled round an altar.. The next is a coin of Valentinian 1st A.D.364 to 375 reverse Victory walking left. These were found on the 30th April 2013 in two sessions of an hour each. My settings Sens 60 disc 20 although I did try disc 50 which gave less iron noise the boost. and ground ballanced of course.
I will continue with more finds in the next post
