I know they were used by my father-in -law in the early 1900's to repair his children's shoes, but I would like to know the proper term for these items because I want to sell them via classifieds in my local newspaper and I want to type in their proper name.

thanks for helping me

They belonged to "Iron Man"...anyone remember that comic book hero?

I hope you and yours are doing better.

Change has been my nemesis this last week.

Going from Vista Ultimate to 7 Pro. on the computer and going from the Explorer II to the E-Trac have been
two changes I shouldn't have taken on at the same time. Some of us old coots don't adjust to change easily.
I almost wish I were back in classes with the students, but not quite. Thank heaven for summer vacation.

I will make a better effort to get up your way this summer for a brief friendly hunt.

If you're going to be down this way, give me a call & we'll meet for dinner or perhaps some stick wiggling.

Respectfully,

The Nutty Teacher

How do you like the E-trac?

A friend who hunts in the mid-west has one and he is doing extraordinarily well with silver coin finds, IH's "Buffs", and relics at old homesteads.

I'll e-mail you..

My father-in law liked to put dates on his tools....I see he painted "1946" on the rectangular piece that is placed on one's knees

thanks for looking

Hello Ma'am,

I'm terribly sorry for the lack of proper greeting on my e-mail to DC.

I fear that you're too far east for me to make that trip easily.

I appreciate your courteous reply nonetheless.

Respectfully,

The Nutty Teacher
