Hello DC,
I hope you and yours are doing well.
Yesterday, I sent out serious summer homework assignments to all my incoming students, via their parents.
It's only fair, that if I have to spend 10 to 14 hours per school day during the school year they should have
to do five hours a week of school prep. during the summer. I have earned the title of Mean, Old Mr. ...
Mean Old Mrs. ... sends out summer homework packets with all her new students on the last day of school.
I took the E-Trac out of the box with the Sunray Probe, running the factory settings on Saturday.
It performed admirably. Later today, after I get the remaining 72 flowers in the ground, I'm going out
and heat up some of the settings a bit. I did that with the Explorer II and it made a significant difference.
By the way, Snowbird is planning to remain open for skiing through July 4th this year.
Some parts of the Wasatch Range and most of the Uintas still have several feet of snow.
This has shut down the under the ski lift detectorists, until much later in the summer this year.
I'd really like to get up your way in the middle of July, if things go as planned. I'll give you adequate notice so that
I won't be coming unannounced. I'm really looking forward to spending some time detecting in Idaho this summer.
I'd appreciate it if you'd leave your camera home, as I don't need Vernon, or any of the other Photo Shop folks making me
look like a nice person. The only day I dress up as a nice person is on Halloween.
Respectfully,
The Nutty Teacher
