Got a hot F70:hot:

After going through two F75's I finally found an F70 that is super hot. Just adjust the threshold like the Coin strike for smooth operation .

Use the threshold adjustment to balance the signal you receive from the coil. Think of it as a front end adjustment. Most folks lower the sensitivity to help with stability. I find the threshold adjustment is more important in helping accomplish this. The more minerals in the soil the farther you will go into the negative threshold adjustments. After the detector has been made stable add sensitivity in small increments.

Its a two bladed sword....lowering your threshold will cause a loss of depth...all areas differ and of course if you have good ground you are going to get more depth..Good posts
as even though threshold takes on a new meaning in the Coinstrike and F70 so try to run the threshold at least into the low minus numbers as again it provides give and takeaways. In reallity many try to run with high threshold and therein is where their troubles begin...
