Well done John! I'm in Ontario, and have just purchased my first Metal Detector. I live on the North shore of Lake Erie, and am DYING to get going! It's pouring cats and dogs right now DARNIT! Where I am located,15 miles West of Buffalo in Canada. There are SO many places to hunt I don't know where to begin. There are loads of relics to be unearthed, as all around us are battlefields. Old Fort Erie to the east, along the whole shoreline west,to where the Battle of Ridgeway was fought. My friends have found tons of musket, and cannonballs, military uniform buttons, old coins, and lots of other things. Prior to my detector purchase,I had randomly dug in places, and have stumbled across many indian artifacts, some of which I gave to our local museum. I also live where the Welland Canal was dug by men,and steamshovels, and I'm fairly certain there will be evidence of their being there working once I finally get going with my Garret Deepseeker. I can hardly wait!!!! Best wishes John, from John in Ontario!
