Headed out after supper for a bit, to try and up my loot count. About 30 feet behind the goal posts, I got a good blast from the Scorpion and out came a ring.

I keep sayin' I need to dust off my Scorpion and swing it around some. We got back from being overseas last month and went to one of our rent houses where I store most of my detecting/prospecting gear. Man. I forgot that I even had it, but I dug out an old 12.5 inch Crossfire Goldhunter searchcoil for the Scorpion that I've had since dinosaurs roamed the earth
I put it on the Scorpion and that thing looks ridiculously huge. Oh well, I might try it out at a park over the weekend. I remember it goes deeper than H E double hockey sticks! John, you are an inspiration to us all, sir! Thanks for sharing! Happy Hunting!
