got a question about a bad coil...

Hey guys, i just have a quick question. I noticed my coil wire conected to my detector is kinda bent. I don't see any thing broke in the shrink tubing, but when i move my wire the detector gose off. Is this just normal or is the wires lose? I got a new coil cover for it, and noticed it when i put the coil cover on. Thanks. Jess
 
Puting the coil cover on should not make a difference. Sounds like you have a short in the plug. I had a T2 that had the same issue and they sent me a new coil. Call FT and see what they will do for you.....MO
 
thanks guys i just got back from a gpaa gold show in redding california. It was pretty sweet to say the least. Didn't spend all my money which was a good thing... Was my first show.. yea im going to call fisher on monday and see what they say..
