Got a recall on my motorcycle...

Got it in the mail today...Seems there is whole exhaust systems falling off of some of these bikes-The KLR forum I am on has a LOT of guys complaining about this-The whole exhaust system falling off going down the hiway!!:rant:The 2008 model I bought seems to have the biggest problem with this, although I guess I got one that everything is tight enough -Nothing's fallen off.The recall said there were a lot of them that didnt have the exhaust-to-head bolts tightened to the proper torque-SO THEY ARE RECALLING ALL 2002-2008 KLR MODELS TO CHECK THE BOLTS.Said it will take 15 minutes or less.all I can say is:GREAT TIMING!!JUST THIS MORNING,I winterized it,took the battery out,put it away for the winter-2 HOURS LATER I get the letter about the recall.I called the dealer, they said just to bring it in next Spring, they will take care of it then......Imagine that-goin down the road about 55;exhaust falls off, locks up the rear wheel-it would be just like when I went over the handlebars of my bicycle-Only a LOT faster;and would turn out a LOT worse:stars::stretcher::(:help::cry:

attracted bees and everyone was getting stung.

Glad you found out before you had a major problem.
