Went out this weekend to a local lake and the GF took her ACE. I was expecting water hunting so I brought the Tiger Shark. When I got there the bouys that are at the deepest end of the swim beach were about 200 yards up on dry land, the water was that far out!! I got started with the TS and here she comes with her first find... a GOLD ring!! I shake off that smackin' and go back to hunting. Twenty or so pulltabs later here she comes with a .925 toe ring.... What did I get for my best find Saturday.... a cheap plated broken down chain.

Sunday, we hit the same beach. At least she didn't hurt me too bad, I ended up with a hoe.... yup, 14" down, under 5" of sand and 9" of hard packed clay I hit the metal part of an old hoe. Earlier in the day I went after a few of those deeper targets and found the brass of old paper shell shotgun shells. OLD. It is a man made lake and many years ago it was farmland. So much for the history lesson... HH Joe
