Got an ID Edge last week. Been out with it 4 times.

This is one heck of a detector. I'm amazed at the depth it will find tiny pieces of metal. Easy to learn and use. The four tones and the 36 ID numbers are a great combination. Fisher got it right with this one, a real pleasure to use.

my brother in law had an id edge and loved it. the edge and the coinstrike are two of fishers best detectors in my opinion. i have had my coinstrike for about 5 weeks and i really love it. it seems to do great in iron and the depth is incredible. i have a 1941 silver quarter buried at 8 inches on the money and it hits the quarter hard and the sensitivity is only about half way. if i get another detector in the future i think the id edge will be my first choice. have a good one.

I just picked up a new Edge, and it'll be making it's first date with the dirt tomorrow. I still can't believe how small the control housing is compared to my C$.

Brian
