Well it looks like land detecting is just about done for the season now up here in New Hampshire. We have been lucky this year with the ground staying unfrozen this late in the year. I guess I can say that land hunting went out with a bang for me as I found a 1940 quarter and the George II farthing pictured below at my last hunt. I can't make out the date on it but it would be from around 1730.
I guess it time to head to the ocean now until the spring comes. Oh found this coin with a XS it was at about 6 inches. I also found a 1724 Hibernia hald penny and a George the first half penny on the farm I found this copper on earlier this year.

Hmm was there in preview mode don't know why it didn't upload ....

There are coastal flood and beach erosion warnings posted by the National Weather Service. The weather radar is clear of rain near the beaches. Low tide this afternoon (Sat) is at 4:40 pm so I figure if I head out about 2 hours after high tide (which is at 9:54) then the tide should be far enough out so that there should be room on the beach to hunt and I can follow the tide out until its get dark. I'll probably head to Salisbury and get there around noon or so.
Here is the National Weather Service coastal forecast -

Maybe I'll catch ya out there :)
