Got chewed out by one of the locals

This little guy was not happy with me digging in his "turf". He must have chewed me out for a solid 5 minutes. Must have thought I was stealing his winter stash of food. Normal finds, a few clad coins and the usual other stuff, nothing special.

Looks like a baby. Glad he didn't decide to bite through your
connector. Would have been an electrifing experience for him.

My first thought was squirrel legs & gravy with a can of "thumper" biscuits and a very large glass of milk! Plenty of salt and pepper! Yum!

Maybe he was sizing you up for winter storage. We look like nuts with all our gear sometimes. A favorite meal at deer camp on opening day was squirrel stew. I never went to this camp, but they sure liked this stew and it was a tradition of sorts with them. Hoping my neighbor will gift me some dove and deer meat again this year. Mama fried some cubed deer steak and made some gravy and onions and biscuits and I almost eat myself into a coma. Since my injury, I don't hunt anymore. I am blessed with good neighbors who think about me this time of year. I saw a video on the just eat real food series with a duck recipe I would like to try, also. HH and good eating to all of you. Thanksgiving is just around the corner.
