Got down and dirty with the Excal11, Greenies and 3 rings

Sent the Excal on the most sen. sitting I have ever used and it just taught me something new, AGAIN. I thought I had this unit set at its very best setting but again the Excal showed me its true colors and then I hit 3 rings in about 30 min. I know there only silver but I have been enlightened once again. I got Greenies way down. Had there been gold there, it would have been a home run but that's ok as I just love being out on the beach. I was too tired to go any further so I will be out to the beach again soon. I got to tell you the gold and all the nice things I find don't compare to just being out on the beach and enjoying this hobby, DON'T get me wrong, I love the gold when I kick the sand away, the heat races but its the hunt I really enjoy the best of it all.

Hi Rat,
You enthusiasm is much appreciated. Keep us posted on you finds and also your new setting discoveries and what the positive results are for your detecting! Your close to gold!

Best Regards,
Steve

That's too funny i was out the other day and got 3 rings and what's left of a Timex watch. But anyway i hunt with the Excal II when i,m not able to use all metal because of to many targets or iron running the sens. up without falsing will give you more depth. I also hunt that way when its to windy to hear the slight threshold change. I,am very happy with the Excal ring count for this year so far is 80 alot are junk but i have plenty of gold and silver. I believe you hunt in NJ so maybe we will run into each other..............HH
