Got home from church and decided to head out for a little hunt...

Got out for about an hour and hit another ballfield where I've gotten a silver or two. Put on the sunray 12" for the heck of it and used a silver coin program I put together. Not 5 minutes into the hunt I hit a nice tone and dug a deep silver... a '64 : can't get much closer than that :lol: Lot's of evidence of another hunter all around the target but he missed this one! The only thing is, I have to be more careful. I think I put a nice nick in this one...

Worship this morning was just great!

At 6:00pm Sunday night we had the 2nd Easter concert of the weekend and it was amazing. Both concerts were packed so I guess we're looking at close to 600 people total who showed up (many unsaved). It was a great weekend :)
 
Well, I've alread broken my "record" :) Last year on March 25th, I got my first two silvers of 2006 (both Mercs). I ended up with 10 silvers for 2006 and a couple of "firsts". My first Mercs, Franklin half, seated quarter and large cent.

This year so far I'm up to 21:

5- Mercs
14- Rosies
2 - Washingtons

All of a sudden they're starting to pop up for me. I know of at least two guys who hunt the same areas that I do and, somehow, they've missed these :) I guess dimes are a lot harder for other machines to pick up, especially when they're deep or on edge. As a matter of fact, I find a lot of clad dimes too. Looking forward to the warmer weather and trying some different parks.

I have noticed that I get a lot of deep dimes - always discolored. Great silver count - I have a large Canadian cent but no US lg one yet , Steve in so az
