Got in a little detecting at the beach before the predicted rain arrived...found a silver necklace

Rain was predicted for the afternoon , so off I went to chase the tide out at late morning-early afternoon.

Started at one beach for about an hour with little to show for it, so put "Plan B" into action and headed for an adjacent beach...around the corner.I found an inviting "bare bones" beach...lots of rocks sticking out of the compact sand.

There I began digging clads....and then approx. 10 minutes before the rain chased me home, I pulled out the silver necklace.It was about 8" deep in the wet sand.I think it had been sleeping there a loooooooooooong time.
