finally found one.........Jack Flynn posted it up and I am the lucky buyer, hope it serves me well at my local fairgrounds! I think a small coil is just what I need out there since the trash level is off the charts...just like all fairgrounds. Any tips or tricks I need to know about the new coil?

You will love it I have a Safari only had 6X8 couple weeks getting dirty look from wife not getting honey dos done since got coil.Went out last night for one hour only 4 coins nickel 1919 and 1913 wheat 1946 rosie. This spot at a local county park hunted to death I and my dad have hunted for over 30 years.Hunted this spot with safari when I got it pulled about 7 coins out with pro coil.I have pulled over 40 coins out of this area with 6X8.I will let you be the Judge I do not think you will need to do 2 tone ferrous after using this coil pinpointing is dead on.I am even finding a lot of old coins with everything below 30 disc.out the safari only goes to 40.

Looking forward to hearing how it works for you G4E! oh, and the finds too!

6x8's are so much fun. Easy to swing and get pretty decent depth too. I really love mine and it might be the winner as far as which coil I've gotten the most silver with and I only use it maybe about a quarter of the time. It's a great coil.

Like everyone else said, it's going to be a great experience using a Minelab with a smaller coil. You won't believe the separation if it's anything like the Sunray X-8. Some spots you'll be punching down deeper than the stock coil because you're getting between the stuff.
Many spots you'll be able to run full sensitivity and get some great depth that way too. So open that machine up to full blast when you can and see what's down there. Good luck.
