I was on my way to work and I stopped at a harvested corn field that I hunted last year and got some early buttons at. It had just been harvested last week but they already chisel plowed it up. My first keeper was an 1838 Large Cent! WOOO HOOO!!!! Later I got an 1865 IH with plenty of crust on it, an early floral button, and an early victorian silver pendant.

Of course, I dreamed I dug one on a trip to Mich a couple years ago but that never materialized Steve
