Got me a wopper

Yesterday in Ione the EMI in that town was bad all over. This is the first time it has been like that at every area I wanted to hunt. The problem with EMI for me is you can't get a good GB and the good targets are being covered up by the EMI and the effect it has on the detector reading targets. I was using the Omega 8000 in some areas and it was wisper quite. I have been on a lucky-skilled streak ever since I hunted an old area with Crosby that dates back to the 1840s. I found a flat buckle and an opium pipe, lots of Chinese coins I posted the photos on this forum. Anyway I had a feeling about hitting the front of an old school that I have hit before. I got a nice iffy hit at 8 inches LTD 0 disc four tone BP and pulled out the 1857 seated. It was in such great shape for being so old. Some of the other finds were made yesterday

Nice finds Low-Boy! What resources do you usually use for your research of these sites? I really enjoy your videos, keep em' coming.

I don't look up anything where I live there is a lot that is old. You can tell how old the land is or you can look for old china and broken glass. This sight is a school ground that has old rick walls that date back to the 1840 or so. If it still has that old feel to it I hunt it,

i know you dont care much for the T-2 but i dug a nice 1849 seated last week with it along with a 1903 barber........nice wopper!

It is not that I don't care for the T2 just not my cup of tea....The guys that like it do a great job at finding history...I have tried alot of detectors and ended up with the F75...LTD and the Omega. The T2 is a bit more raw it has the same iron disc as the Omega and I like that. I came from using a CZ3 for three years so the LTD and Omega fit into my headset better. Great find on your coins..

thanks for the comment...i cant repond to the f-75 or the omega as ive never tried them......i like the T-2 as a high end detector for its simplicity.......paid half price for it too...keep up the great finds....HH.
