Well I took my 1280 X down to the lake for a test run. And I did not find anything good.
I was just trying to learn the machine. I will be going back again.

I used my 1280 several times in & along the surf at the Gulf Coast about 2 years ago. I didn't really use it enough to determine anything. However, I have found that it is a good substitute for my 1266 X if needs be. So good luck when you go back to the water, Steve in so az

my 1280x when I had one seemed to love rusty nails more than anything else.

Now have a Tesoro Stingray and it likes rusty nails too hahahaha. Guess I need to turn up the discrimination more.

Glad ya got out and got some swishing in.

don't just get your feet wet! Most of the goodies are about waist deep! :)

My next door neighbor got a travel trailer and went camping at North Higgins Lake State Park...the kids all got Swimmer's Itch and the park said nothing to anyone about the nasty stuff in the water.

Poor kids...rotten State. The State will protect us by making us wear seatbelts but won't tell anyone about Swimmer's Itch...and to kids - that's worse than wether they have a seat belt on.
