Got my SOV GT Today ...Questions?....

Hi.....

Finally got my Sov GT today with plugger rod 10" coil.. I love it so light and balanced....
I did some local coinhunting today with it to get back the feel....as I have owned 3 or 4 Sovs thur the years elite, xs, etc ....so I am no stranger to this unit....
came with a brand new Coiltec 15" WOT coil also .....just too large for my needs will sell or trade.......

ok heres my question:.......

I noticed that Sunray makes probes for many sdetectors including the Sov's.....BUT......

on the others there are CLIPS that secure the probe BOX to the pole and the probe stick......BUT

on the picture of the SOV unit it has the old style bracket that you slide it on....NOW

I would like to get a S1 probe for my Sov .... BUT....

being I'm using a Plugger straight Rod how am I going to secure the probe Box to the pole???????????? with out the CLIPS????????

any suggestions? HELP!!

I like that setup with it mounted under the meter. Pretty slick. Much smaller box too than some of the Sunray boxes I've seen on Sovereigns. I guess they made two types over the years, a big box one and then a small box one. I think somebody was saying the big box ones could easily be cut down to a smaller size with just a few simple mods.
