Got myself a new F75SE. Have no idea how to use it...

Really....... LOL......... You Know I'm just teasing you a little.. I would suggest you run preset for a few days. Kinda learn what it's telling you. Always GB.

After that I just know you want to try out the super deep Bp mode..So go ahead and move the dial.... Feel that mode out.....

Other than that you just need to see where you want the discrimination settings, and Sens settings for smooth operation....

Your going to hear targets under the coil you do not hear with some other detectors due to fast response, and very little iron masking.. It may sound erratic to you, when in fact it is operating perfectly.

DO Not...be afraid to lower sens for stable operation..It will still go very deep on coin size objects.. Discrimination does not affect the depth much on the F75 series detectors.

Make sure you GB over clean ground using fast Grab....

I just got my F75 se in Feb. and it works great ! They are right though read all u can about it. Start with factory setting . seems realy hard at first but you pick it up purty quick! Read! ask questions! practice! ( the word purty comes from my hickabilly side! LOL!)

Really, more like it wants batteries. It goes almost forever on a set of good batteries. Watch the gauge on the right side. When it runs out of black its time for a new set.
Also, I hated DE mode, love BP. Love 5 inch coil hate the 11. It reads the small metal so well that its overwhelming. It is just right with the 5 or the 5x10 coils. 4 tone can be a bit much at first too, so be sure to try 1F and all metal motion. It is a mystery to me that anyone could not find a setting to love on this machine.

It needs good Alkaline Batteries .....Not the Regular AA's

Till recently First Texas included batteries. For some reason they do not do that now. ??

John hope u r liking your75 u r a real gentalman to deal with and i wish u the very best with this high performance machine....... jeremi

Anytime I get a new detector I take it to a park filled with modern change and I give it about 10 hours or so.
There is no way to learn...but learn.

Made myself use the 11 inch coil the other day. Did better than before. Seriously if you are having trouble USE THE 5 inch coil until you feel better about things. It is REALLY a good unit and you WILL find good things with it. Patience and thought help a lot. It says more and sees more than we are used to with other machines and with the 11 inch coil there is a lot of dirt being reported on!
