Got out for a couple of hunts over Labor Day Weekend. Got a first for me!!

Got out for a couple of hunts over the weekend. Saturday I managed to squeeze out a lone Mercury dime. Sunday, I went to a new spot with the 17" coil and dug some deep silver. As soon as I got there, I dug a wheat penny at 10", so I figured that there had to be some deep silver that was passed up over the years. A few minutes later I got a hit that was just a "thunk" from both ways. It wouldn't even give a tone, but the conductive numbers came up as a 47-49. Dug waaayy down there and got a silver spill with a SLQ and a Walker!!! That is my first half dollar. You can see the green crud from where there were sitting on top of each other for a number of years. Rounded out the day with a 9" Rosie.

I gonna have to get a deal on 17" now that I have my ProSwing harness. I've dug a lot of old sites with expansive areas I'd like to go back over.

I got mine at Big Boy Hobbies, I haven't taken it off since I got it. Great depth, great target ID at depth, and surprisingly good separation if you go slow. I love my 17". I know I wouldn't have found the Walker and the SLQ without it!!!

Dig deep!

WTG congrats on the big silver. :twodetecting::minelab::cheers:
