slump, which sometime or another everyone goes through and then the blessings of nice finds come....just like after trials which God ends with His wonderful blessings! 
and I couldn't stand the hot sun and weather anyway.....I have to stay close to home and cool off often in the A/C !!
and having faith in Jesus, Who blesses those who glorify God, His Father! Has your hubby been detecting longer than you? I know you said you hadn't been doing it for very long! Practice makes perfect and you'll be a Pro before long......takes patience and dedication along with enjoying the hobby!
