Got out for about 3 hours today.

I went to another church built sometime in the early 1900's . I am almost positive it has bee detected before , all I founf were 7 coins all clad but one. And it was an old one a 1912 wheat penny. I found it with my 6" coil. I will go back , because I did not get to hunt it good . That was my second oldest coin I have found.

Hey There 7centsworth,

It's interesting you mentioned you found but 7 coins today. Have you noticed that matches your 'handle' here on Find's Treasure Forums? I too went out for a few hours this morning. It's the first I've been out in over a week, as I've been a bit under the weather lately. I found 2 quarters, both clad, and 8 pennies but none of them was older than 1970. The placed I hunted was an old drive-up rest- urant, which has been closed for many years now. I was somewhat surprised I didn't find anything older. So I guess you did a lot better than I did. At least your finds were older than 1970. Maybe next time you'll get some real 'goodies'?

There is not any unusual places there. It is just a big ole rectangular flat lot. There is still an outhouse though. I will try and dig most of the junk out as i keep going back . I never give up on a place. I will hunt it at least ten times before i think about giving up on it.

If the outhose is old and has not been used for awhile, check it out. Was a common place to throw away junk into. If it is still being used do not go diggin' there. It could get messy.
