It was 19 when I left this morning and the 3" of snow was and still is here at the house. It never got much over 32 all day. I wanted to try out my long handle shovel and said what the heck. BTW, the long handle worked great in the field I bundled up and hit the woods. It was pretty nice although my face froze.
