got this ring. was really happy to see the gold. got it rinsed and found out its plated. :thumbdown: it is kinda ate up in some spots. oh well i was close yet again. not pictured i also got a mood ring, and a key.

Still a nice find, dobbie, and in time you will find the ones made of gold and maybe with diamonds or other jewels! A gold-plated ring is better than finding nothing! So enjoy and keep :detecting: the good things will come sooner or later! You have already found some nice finds, so go find some more! :)

Speaking of thumbup I went detecting today for a little while...it was 'cut' short as I received a call from Sherry who cut her thumb with a sharp knife - to the bone she says. She is doing fine. I didn't mind the interruption because of who it was and why. I did find a penny before I got the phone call. Still a penny is a penny and in your case a ring is still a ring. Congrats on the ring find.

Sorry to hear about Sherry's accident with the knife....will be praying for no infection and quick healing! It will probably be rather sore for awhile! Cuts hurt and are painful at times! Even paper cuts hurt! OUCH! God bless you both! :angel:

Oh by the way, I found a penny (heads up) when I went into the Mobil Station to pay for my gas. A lady was behind me and I picked it up and turned and gave the penny to her, saying, I'm passing my luck on to you and told her it was heads and not tails! She smiled and thanked me.....Pennies from heaven are blessings to those who find them!

i just figured if I found a penny...that was lucky :thumbup: :lol: than finding nothing.
 
Yep! Finding a coin of any kind is lucky and a blessing from the beyond! A penny found makes us a tiny bit richer! :lol:
