I managed to find exactly $5.00 in cash. It's going towards my annual gold purchase, a tradition I have had for many years.
And, go figure......I eyeballed a little 2" x 2" plastic bag with a little doll figurine in it. And, it turned out there was also a stone in it, which was a small piece of petrified wood. You just never know what cool things you can find metal detecting.
I did go to the river on Good Friday and managed to get a bit of flour gold.
