Got out yesterday!

Still being amazed at the power of this machine!
It's been raining here lots the last week and between work and family, haven't had a chance to get out until yesterday.
Hit two places, an old settlement area from 1880's and a newer park that is used for sledding.
Found two copper rings, my first ever, one at each place. Any idea what they are from or used for?
Also found an 1883 IH penny! I love finding those. Here in Canada I don't find many, but the funny thing is I have found more IH's than Canadian pennies of the same era! This is my oldest IH to date! I have a feeling I will be finding many "firsts" with this Explorer2.
Another funny thing, found the IH at the sledding park and the silver bracelet at the old settlement area! Oh well, just goes to show that you never know!
God bless and HH

I think the reason that you are finding more Indian Heads than Canadian Pennies is because of the size difference. The old Canadians were quite large and were more likely found by the older machines and the Indians are smaller and you have to cover the ground area with a tighter sweep to be able to find them. Congrats on your finds and what part of Canada are you located?
