Got permission to hunt 1837 homesite

I stopped at the UPS Store today where I usually ship parts from and I saw a Fisher detector box there. I started talking to the store manager about metal detecting. He told me he lived in a house that was built in 1837 and I was more than welcome to go look around his place. He said the house had been remodeled some but no fill dirt or anything had been done to the yard. I've got some parts to ship in the morning and I'm taking the ID Excel with me and have some fun, I hope. He said he doubted that it had ever been detected. Man, I hope he's right.
